About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused House Manager to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our residential community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming new residents and providing a warm and welcoming environment
  • Providing professional front-of-house service and dealing with visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Being the first point of contact for residents and providing support and advice as needed
  • Working collaboratively with our partners and suppliers to ensure the efficient running of the estate
  • Managing the development of our gardens and grounds to provide a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for our residents
  • Facilitating social interaction and helping residents to enjoy their retirement living experience
  • Ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are met
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a real 'can-do' attitude
  • Extensive experience in a professional customer service-oriented position
  • A professional approach with high-quality standards
  • Ability to thrive in a busy and varied role, where every day will be different
  • Resilience and effective problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of basic Health and Safety requirements
  • Good level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Previous or current work-based first aid qualifications an advantage
