About the Role

At Queen Mary University of London, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Library Systems Integration Specialist to provide critical support for our library and business applications. As a key member of the Business & Library Systems team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line technical support and maintenance services for our library and business applications
  • Work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and departmental colleagues to ensure effective system design and delivery
  • Develop and maintain interfaces between different corporate systems to enhance integration and efficiency
  • Contribute to the creation of clear system, support, and process documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Deliver training sessions and create relevant documentation to equip colleagues with the necessary skills and knowledge

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience in supporting and maintaining library and business applications, with a strong understanding of library systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, manage, and resolve complex application issues
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or significant experience in technical support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible approach to work

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including access to a generous pension scheme, 30 days' leave per annum (pro-rata for part-time/fixed-term), a season ticket loan scheme, and comprehensive personal and professional development opportunities.
