Part-time: Teaching assistant required to work one-to-one, 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday. This is for 35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Job Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to work with pupils on a one-to-one basis. The role may also involve lunchtime cover. The ideal candidate will possess empathy, resilience, and the ability to promote positive relationships with parents and statutory agencies. They will be passionate about working with children to provide a calm and nurturing learning environment.

The successful candidate will work effectively within a team to support the work of teachers in providing high-quality learning opportunities for pupils. They will be motivated, confident, and able to use their initiative to deliver a bespoke curriculum that includes practical skills such as gardening, cooking, and crafts. Full training and support will be provided. Previous experience in a school or nursery environment is desirable but not essential.
