Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training & Engagement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering training and awareness-raising sessions to communities and organizations across Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training, workshops, and presentations on cultural diversity, hate crime, discrimination, and other topics to various audiences.
  • Identify training needs, develop programs, and deliver sessions via in-person workshops, webinars, and other mediums.
  • Design and manage online training and assessments on our training portal.
  • Organize community engagement sessions, manage attendance, and gather data for reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote our initiatives and create referral partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering community activities, training, and awareness-raising sessions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present effectively and produce concise reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload, work independently, and as part of a team, and meet deadlines.

About the Role:

As our Training & Engagement Officer, you will be instrumental in promoting our initiatives, including around gambling harm awareness in Black and Ethnic Minority communities. You will work closely with our Training Manager to deliver training and awareness-raising sessions, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote our initiatives.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £30,000 per year, plus 3% pension.
  • A 2-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with flexibility to work from home and in the office.
