Role Description
">Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated occupational therapist to fill a Band 6 Disability Occupational Therapist position. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care and support the ongoing development of our services.
">About the Position
">In this role, you will work in a clinical site-based environment, supported by the clinical leads and Head of Therapy, and via peer support from other Lead Occupational Therapists across the hospital and wider Trust. You will collaborate with the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist and the rest of the therapy team to provide early rehabilitation in line with the GPICs standards.

- Developing and delivering a high-quality Occupational Therapy service across critical care and the inpatient respiratory wards.">
- Collaborating with ward teams to manage patients progressing towards discharge.">
- Participating in follow-up clinics.">
Requirements
">Candidates must have a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and experience working in specialist fields gained through rotational positions and specialist training to post-graduate diploma level or equivalent.
">Compensation
">The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, including an estimated £44,606 - £58,217 per annum, depending on experience, along with comprehensive training, opportunities for professional development, and a range of employee benefits, including a generous pension scheme.
