The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.


We are seeking an ambitious and driven Compliance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for adopting and applying a health and safety culture, ensuring all inspections are undertaken to agreed standards, documented, and reported in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Adopting and applying a health and safety culture responsible for keeping up to date with knowledge and understanding of all relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures that relate thorough examinations (LOLER & PUWER).
  • Ensuring all inspections are undertaken to agreed standards, documented, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining personal safety through risk assessments and safety awareness.
  • Travelling effectively within allocated work area when required.
  • Upholding the image and standards of the company through personal presentation and company vehicle condition.


What will help you to excel in this role:

  • Extensive experience of working on Materials Handling Equipment or MEWPs.
  • Experience in MHE, FLT experience and mention LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
  • Experience of effectively managing customer relationships.
  • Significant knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety legislation relating to LOLER and PUWER.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • High levels of IT Literacy.
