Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Gainsborough to find a skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Salary: £41,648.97 including shift allowance

Shifts: 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm and 4pm – 2am

Benefits:

  • Overtime at higher rates
  • 26 holiday days per year plus bank holidays
  • Pension – up to 10% company contribution
About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the site's electrical and mechanical services, equipment, and machinery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and associated services in good electrical order
  • Quickly identifying and fixing electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and machinery
  • Installing and maintaining services in line with current regulations
  • Providing electrical/mechanical support in the event of breakdowns
  • Executing planned preventative maintenance and contributing to system improvements
  • Working with various internal departments and external suppliers to support operations
  • Working within 5s methodology
  • Recording work done in the Maintenance Management System (SAP) with detailed technical feedback
Requirements

We are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with the following experience:

  • Electrical qualifications
  • Fault finding on various electrical control systems
  • Installation experience
  • Fault finding and repairs on mechanical plant
  • Fabrication/welding/machining/fitting experience
  • PPM systems
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles
