Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cataract Consultant to join our team at ACES. As a key member of our eye care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a community setting.

About the Role:

  • You will undertake pre and post-operative consultations for cataract surgery patients, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • You will oversee glaucoma care as part of our virtual ophthalmology-led service, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
  • You will provide clinical support to our ophthalmologists in general and oculoplastic clinics, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience and a strong background in ophthalmology.
  • You should be keen to undertake higher qualifications in glaucoma and stay up-to-date with the latest clinical developments.
  • You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • You should be confident, organized, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • You must be willing to work flexibly, including full and part-time opportunities, with a market-leading salary.
