Job Title: Residential Care Unit Lead
Company Overview: Our client operates a 67 bed all en-suite residential care facility specialising in dementia care for the elderly.
Salary: £13.11/hour (Days); Double Time for Bank Holidays, with a guaranteed 42 hour/week contract available.
Job Description:
- This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a specific unit at the home.
- You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care and managing a small team of Carers.
- The role requires coordinating care plans, monitoring resident outcomes, administering medication and liaising with families.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to create a safe and supportive environment.
- A compassionate approach and experience in administering and overseeing medication are also required.
- NVQ Level 2 is mandatory for this position.
