About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our Worldwide Specialist Team, focusing on High Performance Computing (HPC) in Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the global Go-to-Market (GTM) plan for HPC in HCLS, driving revenue growth, and accelerating customer adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies to drive sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams.
  • Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best-in-class field enablement and sales strategies.
  • Support field teams in solution building for high-priority customers.
  • Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
  • Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and represent AWS at industry events, conferences, and symposiums.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management.
  • Solid GTM, sales, or consulting experience in the Healthcare and/or Life Sciences sector.
  • Relevant work High Performance Computing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives.
  • Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
  • Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motions.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
