Job Overview

Magna International Inc. is seeking an experienced Automotive Electronics Developer to join our team in a permanent role.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create specifications and development of RestBus Simulations based on vehicle bus protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.
  • Estimate work packages for external suppliers or internal resources, creation of functional safety requirements, and time plans for RestBus Simulation releases.
  • Select and track suppliers, create test cases, and testing RestBus Simulation releases, along with reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electronics or equivalent (Master's preferred).
  • 4-8 years' relevant experience regarding the responsibilities/activities listed above for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory).
  • Knowledge about ECU architectures (features, components, communication protocols), familiarity with measurement and automation devices and methods.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like C or C++, C#, Java, CAPL scripting knowledge, and script languages like Auto It, Python, or VBA.
