Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technology Developer to join our team at Magna International Inc. This role involves developing automotive technologies in a dynamic environment, providing user support, issue management, and project coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support, troubleshooting, and reporting
  • Offer 3rd level support for issue and problem management
  • Support the functional department with user training
  • Collaborate as a project member for new applications (Go Live preparations and after Go Live support)
  • Create technical and training documentation
  • Support application or project testing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field of study from a recognized IT program
  • Knowledge in the administration of WEB applications and databases (MSSQL)
  • Familiarity with SQL language and mainstream databases
  • Linux experience is an advantage
  • Fluent English language knowledge: written and spoken
  • Ability to train and coach within the plant
  • Ability to work effectively, independently, and with others in a collaborative environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet critical deadlines
