About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at RedTech Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of software developers, overseeing the design, build, and maintenance of applications using React, and working within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software developers and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of applications using React, ensuring they meet the required standards and are scalable for future growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.
  • Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Proactively propose new solutions based on industry knowledge and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a role where you were managing or leading software developers.
  • Solid commercial experience using React within a front-end/full-stack role.
  • Keen on progressing in a software leadership role.
  • Knowledge in C# or Golang is beneficial.
  • Experience in working with micro frontend architectures or on cloud infrastructures is beneficial.
  • Previously worked in agile environments.
  • Strong collaborative communication skills.
