Medical Practice Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Management Assistant at North Street Medical Care. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the coding and scanning of patient records, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Coordinate the administration of childhood immunisations and safeguarding procedures, ensuring compliance with national guidelines.
- Support the Practice Manager with HR and administrative tasks, including record keeping and staff supervision.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with national and local standards.
- Provide administrative support for clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- GCSEs or higher in a relevant subject.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians and administrative staff.
- Strong IT skills, with experience of using EMIS or similar clinical systems.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement principles.
