Job Title: Assistant Design Manager

Edge Careers is seeking an experienced Assistant Design Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Design Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Senior Design Manager in leading and providing a professional, comprehensive, and sustainable design service for our customers and key partners/suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Design Manager in managing the project design resource and team profile at bid and delivery stages.
  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive scope of service for key stages of projects.
  • Coordinate design reviews and meetings.
  • Monitor progress against programme and report to the project team.
  • Establish the need for and input into design reviews.
Requirements:
  • BSc/HND/HNC in a relevant technical or architectural discipline.
  • 3-4 years' experience with design development/architecture in the construction industry.
  • Experience in the main contracting market – ideally with Education/Healthcare schemes.
