Design Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Design Project Manager to join our team at Building Design Partnership. This is a permanent, full-time role based in one of our northern studios, with travel across the UK required.

About the Role

This is a commercial and project management lead role, responsible for taking charge of high-profile projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the building design process and project management principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal and external commercial management
  • Supply chain and procurement management
  • Planning and programming of design projects
  • Deliverable definition and progress monitoring/reporting
  • Resource management
  • Quality assurance support
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to work well within the dynamics of design and client teams. They will have a good knowledge of project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

We are looking for a candidate who is aware of the challenges of working within a creative environment and can provide solid organisational skills, with the ability to juggle projects with differing priorities.
