Design Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Design Project Manager to join our team at Building Design Partnership. This is a permanent, full-time role based in one of our northern studios, with travel across the UK potentially required.

About the Role

This is a commercial and project management lead role on high-profile projects. You will work closely with our design team to provide specialist project and commercial management services, including internal and external commercial management, supply chain and procurement, planning and programming, deliverable definition, progress monitoring, and resource management.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a good understanding of the building design process and an interest in project management and commercial issues. You may be an architect looking to move into a project management role or have experience in a related design/project management role.

You will need exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to work well within the dynamics of design and client teams. A good knowledge of project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is also essential.
