About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Lead to join our team at PSR Solutions. As a leading Mechanical Building Services contractor, we are looking for a skilled HVAC Engineer to lead our design efforts and assist in the development of new projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of HVAC systems for commercial projects, including office fit-outs, schools, hotels, and sports centers.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement design solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Produce site surveys and validation reports to ensure accurate design and installation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering, preferably on the contractor side.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including wet heating and CHWS, 4-pipe FCUs, VRV, VAV, domestic water, and public health systems.
  • Experience with office fit-out work and the associated timescales.
  • Ability to produce load calculations and work with design software such as EDSL and Tas.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
