Commercially-Minded Founder for Industrial Heat Pump Venture

We are seeking a commercially-minded founder to lead the development of a new venture focused on industrial heat pump solutions. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our experts to create a scalable and sustainable business model that addresses the significant challenges in the industrial heat sector.
The OpportunityThe industrial heat sector is a critical area for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, with the potential to mitigate up to 35% of emissions from processes below 120°C. However, the current solutions are often expensive and inefficient, making it challenging to adopt electrification of heating sources. Our goal is to develop a fully-integrated, modular heat pump solution that can bridge the cost gap and make industrial-scale heat pumps a viable alternative to traditional fossil fuel-based systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the commercial development of the new venture, working closely with our team to create a scalable business model
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the heat pump solution, targeting key industries and customers
- Collaborate with our experts to refine the product and technology, ensuring it meets the needs of the market and is competitive with existing solutions
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
- Work closely with our investment team to secure funding and support for the venture
- Proven track record of leading commercial development and go-to-market strategies in the industrial or hardware technology sector
- Strong understanding of technical product development and R&D commercialization
- Experience in sales and business development, with a focus on generating leads and closing deals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
