Main Responsibilities
As a Community Nursing Sister/Qualified District Nurse, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, aligned to residential homes within the area. You will also be required to support, coach, and develop individuals to deliver consistently high-quality services. Excellent communication and time management skills, and sound clinical knowledge, are essential for this role.

Key Requirements
- Registered General Nurse
- Demonstrate evidence-based practice and up-to-date clinical skills
- Evidence of significant post-registration nursing experience, including community setting
- Post-registration qualification in a relevant clinical field
- Relevant teaching/mentorship qualification and evidence of teaching skills
- Post-registration nursing experience, including community experience
Desirable Criteria

- Nurse Prescriber

- Current driving license
- Ability to travel across sites and across Bedfordshire to meet patient needs and attend meetings
Experience
- Evidence of and commitment to multi-professional working
- Understanding of the interface between primary and secondary care
- Comprehensive understanding of partnership working
- Ability to manage a caseload
Knowledge
- Literate in IT/Computer Skills
- Knowledge of the principles of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Children
- Knowledge of the principles of health promotion and prevention of illness
- Good oral communication skills based on fluency on the English language
