Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Social Work Team Lead for Children's Services to join our team in Telford and Wrekin. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and ensuring that social work practices meet the highest standards.

About the Role

The Social Work Team Lead for Children's Services will be responsible for:

  • Leading the Social Work Team to deliver high-quality services to children and their families
  • Managing a caseload of complex cases, including Child in Need and Child Protection cases
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to support children and families
  • Collaborating with other agencies to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to safeguarding

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Post-qualifying experience in child protection and assessment
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £41,438 per annum, plus benefits including:
