We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our innovative Fostering Service at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to foster carers, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

As a Family Support and Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing foster care needs, developing relationships with foster carers, and delivering high-quality support services. This includes:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of foster care suitability
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans for foster carers and their families
  • Maintaining regular contact with foster carers, providing guidance, and addressing any concerns or challenges that may arise

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers, children, and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions

We offer a competitive salary of £43,000 - £46,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including access to a secure pension scheme, generous leave entitlement, and opportunities for career development and progression.
