Assistant Store Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced retail or hospitality leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading supermarket brands, known for their exceptional customer service and commitment to excellence.

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. This will include managing the sales floor, leading a team of sales assistants, and ensuring that the store is running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in the management of the sales floor and team
  • Lead by example and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Manage the store's inventory and stock levels
  • Ensure that the store is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
  • Develop and implement plans to improve sales and customer satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience as a Manager or Leader within a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances

Please note, the salary displayed is based on a 45 hours per week contract. We are also able to offer 40 and 45 hour contracts and in these instances the salary offered would be pro-rated. In addition to this, if you are applying for a role within the M25 you will also receive an allowance of up to £3,090 dependent on location.
