Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join our inpatient mental health service. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to our healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
The estimated salary for this role is £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off in lieu.
Key Responsibilities- Providing support to healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is delivered effectively
- Assisting with the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, including ordering supplies and equipment
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment, and reporting any issues to the team manager
- Liaising with the domestic supervisor to ensure deep cleaning is carried out as needed
- Welcoming and greeting visitors to the ward
- CPR training and awareness of equality, diversity, and rights
- Experience of working in an environment with service users who have mental health problems
- Awareness of the importance of stock rotation and monitoring
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure patient needs are met
