Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Team Leader in a Children's Residential Home. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people aged 6 to 17 who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may exhibit challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee shifts with Residential Support Workers to ensure the highest level of care and support for our service users.
- Manage risks in accordance with company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Stay informed on current legislation, such as the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, to ensure compliance and best practice.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in children's or young adults' residential care within the last 5 years.
- A full manual driving licence.
- A passion for supporting children and young people and a commitment to their development.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
