We are delighted to offer the position of Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant at a mainstream Primary School with a SEND Unit in the Teddington area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

About the Position:

This full-time role, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm, requires you to support two students, one non-verbal with autism and one with medical needs and learning difficulties. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement tailored educational plans, creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of the children.

About You:
  • You will need prior experience working with children with SEND needs and a background in early years education.
  • You must be able to work full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm, and either already hold or be willing to apply for a Child-Only DBS.
  • You should have prior experience working with children in the UK, ideally in a primary or nursery setting, and hold a Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Qualifications (or equivalent).
Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is around £22,500 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including ongoing training and development opportunities, a comprehensive induction program, and a supportive work environment.
