About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team at oilandgas. As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing content and external communication strategies that advance our business goals and engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Development: Create, curate, and manage high-quality written and visual content, including articles, blogs, website copy, presentations, speaking abstracts, videos, infographics, executive communications, and more.
  2. Media Relations: Produce engaging content for media outlets, including press releases, media alerts, feature stories, customer stories, byline articles, media kits.
  3. Research and Analysis: Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging communication techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
  4. Content Optimization: Ensure content accuracy, relevance, and SEO optimization.
  5. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, product, segment, and subject matter experts to ensure content alignment and consistency in messaging, tone, and brand voice across all communication materials.
  6. Performance Metrics: Monitor content performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  1. Exceptional Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills with a strong command of English grammar, style, and tone.
  2. Content Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing content for various tactics and audiences.
  3. SEO Knowledge: Intermediate to proficient understanding of SEO methodologies and content optimization techniques.
  4. Content Management: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
  5. Technical Skills: Confidence in working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), Teams and SharePoint.
  6. Adobe Creative Suite: Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and/or video editing software is a plus.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Comfortable in a large international matrix-based organization marketing to a technical and industrial marketplace.
