Job Title: Global Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing content and external communication strategies that advance our organizational goals and engage our target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content and external communication strategies that align with our organizational goals.
  • Create high-quality written and visual content, including articles, blogs, website copy, presentations, and more.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and stakeholders, including journalists, industry analysts, and subject matter experts.
  • Manage the development of deep content, including research, whitepapers, and eBooks, and its amplification with media and analysts.
  • Manage interviews and speaking engagements for company spokespeople.
  • Organize and execute press events, such as press conferences and media briefings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and communications.
  • Monitor news outlets for media coverage of our organization and industry trends, develop recommendations for improvement, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Craft clear and compelling messaging and thought leadership materials that communicate complex ideas in a relatable and accessible manner.
  • Ensure content accuracy, relevance, and SEO optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content alignment and consistency in messaging, tone, and brand voice across all communication materials.
  • Monitor content performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills with a strong command of English grammar, style, and tone.
  • Proficiency in optimizing content for various tactics and audiences.
  • Intermediate to proficient understanding of SEO methodologies and content optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Confidence in working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and/or video editing software is a plus.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest communication trends and tools.
