Apprentice Insurance Broker Opportunity

Our client, a leading Lloyds Insurance Broker, is seeking an Apprentice Insurance Broker to join their team in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a school or college leaver looking to start their career in the insurance industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support management and colleagues in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Develop a thorough understanding of insurance principles and the insurance broking market
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
  • Deal with client enquiries, generate correspondence, and notify insurers of changes and new cover issued
  • Process and dispatch policy documentation, update records, and pursue outstanding renewal premiums
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3 A-Levels or equivalent (Grade C or above)
  • At least 5 GCSES (Grade C or above)
  • Strong IT skills and effective time management
  • Ability to work within a team or individually and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
