About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Apprentice Quality Coach to join our team at HMP Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of learners.

Job Summary
This role involves working with learners to undertake inductions, preparing and reviewing Digital Personal Learning Plans, allocating learners to educational courses and prison jobs, undertaking employability workshops, supporting careers fairs, and helping prisoners prepare for release. The successful candidate will be able to accurately identify the needs of learners, deliver high-quality information, advice, and guidance, and complete goal-focused action plans for all eligible learners.

Key Responsibilities
* Accurately identify the needs of learners using the Digital PLP process
* Deliver high-quality end-to-end information, advice, and guidance
* Complete goal-focused action plans for all eligible learners
* Coach learners on a one-to-one and group basis
* Support learners at the Employment Hub and resettlement stages of their journey

Requirements
* Experience in providing Careers Advice/IAG services on a one-to-one and group work setting
* Experience of working in prisons and with HMPS and other external providers
* Ability to build strong relationships with other departments
* Excellent communication skills
* Good working knowledge of the Matrix Standard and Ofsted EIF
* Good administration, IT, and organisational skills

Salary
The salary for this role is £23,316 - £28,000 per annum.
