Support Teacher Assistant

beBee Professionals in Chester is looking for a Support Teacher Assistant to provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs. As a key member of our support staff, you will work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
Key Duties- Work closely with teachers to design and deliver targeted interventions to support students with SEN.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of IEPs to ensure students receive tailored support.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with teachers and students.
- Patient and empathetic individuals who can build strong relationships with students will excel in this role.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are preferred but not essential.

The estimated salary range for this position is £25,000-£35,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
