Classroom Support Teacher

A highly reputable Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join the staff of one of its outstanding schools in Ellesmer Port. This long-term role offers the chance to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, with a strong commitment to professional development and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pupils, providing support in the classroom to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a long-term role, initially offered on a fixed-term contract of one year, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and school needs.
- Support individual and small groups of pupils to enhance their learning and development.
- Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays.
- Support the teacher in maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and behavior.
- Promote the school's values and ethos within the classroom and beyond.
Requirements include a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, and a proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning needs.
Estimated salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum.
