About the Company:

Ryder Reid Legal is a leading international law firm with a progressive culture and a commitment to diversity and inclusion

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to join our UK office and lead our DEI initiatives across the UK and Europe

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement DEI strategies, programs and initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and the global DEI team to align local initiatives with global DEI goals and priorities
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leaders, partners and HR teams on DEI matters
  • Oversee diversity recruitment and retention strategies to ensure a diverse pipeline of legal talent
  • Drive engagement with affinity groups, diversity committees and external networks to promote a culture of inclusion
  • Develop and deliver DEI training programs and workshops for legal and non-legal professionals
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and external forums to enhance the firm's DEI profile

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior DEI leadership role within a law firm is essential
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion best practices and its evolving landscape
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing DEI strategies, programs and policies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience in delivering DEI training and workshops
