**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher to join our team at Supply Desk. As a dedicated specialist in working with children with special educational needs (SEN), you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives.

About the Role:

  • Teach pupils with SEN in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to individual needs.
  • Assess and mark work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Develop and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse requirements of pupils.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN children is essential.
  • Good knowledge of SEN and a passion to develop are key qualities we seek.
  • Able to commit to working fixed days – full or part time.
  • NVQ in Childcare and education or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is required.
  • May have had previous experience in residential support work, care, or support working in schools.
  • Team Teach, TEACCH, or positive handling training is desirable.

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
