About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEND Education Specialist to join our team in High Wycombe or Slough. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

Job Description

  • Provide individualised support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting high self-esteem and independence.
  • Adjust communication styles to suit the individual needs of pupils.
  • Assist pupils with their social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Encourage and promote high standards of behaviour.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and protocols.

Estimated Salary: £87.30-£94.29 per day (Plus CPD)
