We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our friendly and award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care and creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes that may impact on care and care plans, and ensuring that new needs are met and recorded.
- Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
- Support residents with their medication requirements, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development, helping to build a positive and supportive team culture.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have:
- An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.

Please note that this role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
