About the Role

Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant. In this role, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

Responsibilities will include maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home, and reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and the care staff.

You will also support with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed, and establish links with the local community to encourage access to the wider community and promote intergenerational activity.

We are looking for someone who lives our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in everything they do. Our ideal candidate must have effective communication skills, verbal and written, and demonstrate understanding of the role interaction plays in the general well-being of people.

We believe that the later years of our residents' lives should be as enriching as any other, and we are committed to providing exceptional care and experience throughout our growing portfolio of over 100 care homes.

Please note that this role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
