- Health and Safety: Enforce procedures related to health, safety, hygiene, and security in collaboration with the Health, Safety, and Compliance Officer.
- Delivery Strategy: Refine and optimize the company's delivery strategy, overseeing stock control, storage layout, and movement within all warehouses to maximize efficiency.
- Maintenance and Servicing: Manage the maintenance of buildings, sites, and equipment to ensure continuous productivity, and oversee third-party servicing to maintain energy efficiency in warehouses.
- Staff Management: Recruit and manage warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company procedures and maintaining discipline.
- Logistical Solutions: Liaise with suppliers to secure cost-effective logistical solutions.
- Qualifications: GCSE/T Levels or equivalent in Maths and English, and a degree in Operations, Logistics, or Leadership, or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience: Strong background in a senior management role within a warehouse or logistics environment, with a high proficiency in Excel and excellent communication skills.
- Skills: Strategic planning abilities, KPI monitoring, and team collaboration, project management skills, experience with racking, maintenance, and site management, and an understanding of Net Zero targets.
