About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Service Care Solutions Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, identifying disorders, and developing effective care plans in collaboration with criminal justice agencies.

This is a full-time opportunity with flexible shift patterns, including day shifts (8-8) and part-time options available.

Our client offers a competitive salary of £27 per hour (£21.68 exclusive), paid weekly, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mental health assessments for individuals in police custody, court, or other points of contact with the criminal justice system.
  • Identify mental health disorders, substance misuse, and learning disabilities, as well as social issues like homelessness, unemployment, or family problems.
  • Work closely with criminal justice agencies to ensure continuity of care and provide updates on client needs and progress.
Requirements:
  • Fully enhanced DBS check.
  • Mental health nursing degree.
