Job Title: Adoption and Permanence Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adoption and Permanence Practitioner to join our team at SW Locums Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people.

About the Role:

  • This full-time position involves working as a statutory caseworker, safeguarding children and young people, identifying risks, and managing those risks.
  • You will be responsible for securing and supporting alternative homes for children, including those in and beyond public care.
  • Assessments of need and risk, planning for outcomes, and reviewing in line with procedures will also be a key part of your role.

Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 3 years' UK Social Work experience and be registered with Social Work England.
  • A right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS issued within the past 12 months are also essential.
