Waking Nights Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Waking Nights Care Support Specialist to join our team at CareTech Group. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and associated behaviors.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to our residents during waking night shifts. This includes creating a safe and nurturing environment, encouraging independence, and promoting personal growth.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care, has excellent communication skills, and can work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- To provide 1:1 support to residents during waking night shifts, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- To develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and external professionals to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- To contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, promoting resident-centered practices.
- To participate in staff training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as positive behavioral support and therapeutic interventions.
- A Level 3 Children's and Young People qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Experience working in residential childcare environments is preferred but not essential.
- Able to work unsociable hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Possesses a friendly, passionate, and caring nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
