Care Assistant Job Description:
At Harbour Healthcare Limited, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our care team as a Care Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Care Assistant who can provide person-centred care to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for supporting residents with their daily living needs, including personal care, mobility, and medication management.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting residents with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assisting residents with mobility issues, including transferring, walking, and using wheelchairs.
- Administering medication to residents in accordance with their care plans.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Participating in activities and events that promote resident engagement and socialisation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care or a related field (not essential but desirable).
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy.
