About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our dual-site Supported Living services in Bedford, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational management of the two Supported Living services, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and maintaining high standards of environmental, safety, and quality.
  • Development, supervision, and performance management of staff, including training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Responding to referrals and undertaking initial assessments of need, producing plans of support that ensure clear goals and expected outcomes for service users.
  • Coordinating person-centered reviews, working closely with local multi-disciplinary teams and community-based agencies to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintaining a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere, facilitating service user engagement, involvement, and peer support.
  • Keeping up to date with legislation and ensuring staff are appropriately experienced and trained for their roles.
Requirements
  • Proven management experience in a care setting, ideally with Positive Behaviour Support training and experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and work professionally with service users, families, professionals, and work colleagues.
  • Relevant care qualification (such as RMN/Dip SW, degree or NVQ Level 4/5) and a minimum of three years' experience working with individuals with Learning disabilities.
  • Ability to register with the CQC and ensure adherence to CQC regulations.
