Job Title: Senior Charge Nurse/ODP

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Charge Nurse/ODP to join our team in the Emergency Theatre department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership and specialist knowledge to ensure high-quality care is delivered and that nursing and service developments are taken forward.
  • Support junior staff and students, ensuring ongoing training and development to maintain high standards of care.
  • Deputise for the SCN's in their absence and take responsibility for attendance management relating to the team.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working within a service that runs over a seven-day week and includes night duty.
  • Engage in multi-site working within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to achieve the needs of the service.
Requirements:
  • Current NMC/HCPC registration.
  • PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
