Software Development Manager

Are you a seasoned software development professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Development Manager to join our team at Adecco UK LTD in Cambridge.

Your Role:
  1. Lead a small team of software developers in an agile environment, guiding them to success and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
  2. Take a hands-on approach to full-stack development using C# and ASP.NET, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
  3. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and building architecture, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of software applications.
  4. Be involved in the full software development cycle, including testing and automating tasks, to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency.
  5. Familiarity with compliance-related matters and frameworks is a plus, as you will be working closely with the team to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  6. Showcase your leadership skills by mentoring and guiding junior team members, helping them to grow and develop in their careers.
  7. Strategize and design roadmaps for efficient project delivery, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.
Your Profile:
  1. Previous experience as a Software Development Manager, with a proven track record of leading teams to success.
  2. Ability to adapt your leadership approach to different personalities and learning styles, ensuring that everyone on the team feels valued and supported.
  3. Passion for running and managing a team, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the organization.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  5. Willingness to undergo background checks, as required by the company.
What We Offer:
  1. A competitive salary of £72,000 - £85,000 (depending on experience) + benefits, reflecting your skills and experience.
