Job Summary:

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Early Years educator to join our team and contribute to creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. As an SEN specialist, you will work closely with families and teachers to develop and implement tailored support plans for children with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with families and teaching staff to identify and address individual child needs.
  • Design and implement Behaviour Support Plans and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique requirements of each child.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams with external professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive support.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • Substantial experience in supporting children with SEN, preferably in early years settings.
  • Hold relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of child development, SEN best practices, and early years frameworks.
