Early Years Practitioner Role Overview
About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Connex Education. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and creative individual to make a meaningful impact on young minds.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging educational activities, assessing and monitoring pupil progress, and creating inclusive learning environments. They will also lead storytelling sessions, organize educational visits, and maintain a stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that support children's development, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Pupil Progress: Assess and monitor pupil progress, maintaining detailed records of student achievements and areas for improvement
- Classroom Environment: Create inclusive learning environments both indoors and outdoors, promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere
- Additional Needs: Develop and implement specialized programs for pupils with additional needs, ensuring they receive the necessary support to reach their full potential
- Leadership: Lead storytelling sessions and educational activities, inspiring children to explore their creativity and imagination
- Visits and Trips: Organize and supervise educational visits, providing students with opportunities to learn outside the classroom
- Maintenance: Maintain a stimulating classroom environment, ensuring all materials and resources are organized and easily accessible
- Qualifications: GCSE Grade C or above in English, Maths, and Science, NVQ Level 3 or Level 6 qualification, and QTS/EYTS (desirable)
- Experience: EYFS experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality educational experiences
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, professional approach with high standards of confidentiality, and excellent time management and organizational skills
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
