Senior Pharmacist Admissions Band 7
We are seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a key role in leading the pharmacy team in our Acute Medical Admissions unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the pharmacy team and provide guidance and mentorship to ward-based medicines management technicians.
- Lead audits and projects to improve standards related to medicines management and reduce wastage within the Trust.
- Support the development of clinical and ward-based skills in junior pharmacists, with a focus on Medicines Reconciliation and multi-disciplinary team working.

Requirements
- Post-registration UK hospital experience (minimum 18 months)
- Experience of providing services to a broad variety of patients
- Demonstrate evidence of good clinical knowledge and skills
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
- Management of staff/staff appraisal
- Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate self and others
