About the Role

We are seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a key role in leading the development of pharmaceutical services in our Acute Medical Admissions unit.

Main Responsibilities

  • To lead the pharmacy team in providing a comprehensive and efficient pharmaceutical service in accordance with required standards of quality and professional practice.
  • To assist in the development of Medicines Reconciliation processes within the Trust.
  • To manage the pharmacy team in this challenging area, guiding and mentoring the ward based medicines management technicians.
  • To support more junior pharmacists in the development of their clinical and ward based skills.

Person Specification

  • Post registration UK hospital experience (min 18 months)
  • Experience of providing services to a broad variety of patients
  • Demonstrate evidence of good clinical knowledge and skills
