Carrington West is seeking an experienced Payroll Team Administrator to join their payroll team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic environment.

As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for processing and paying contractors, billing clients, and resolving queries related to these tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will obtain and/or collate all timesheets received, scan/convert documents into the appropriate format, and enter 1000+ timesheets onto a Pay and Bill system weekly.
  • You will query ambiguous timesheet entries with relevant individuals, review processed timesheets for errors/omissions, and export payment files for Limited Company and Umbrella Contractors.
  • You will use the system to generate sales invoices and issue them to clients using the requested format and frequency, resolve queries raised by contractors, clients, and internal employees, and provide cover for other members of the finance team when required.

The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, excellent attention to detail, and experience in data entry. A strong work ethic and ability to work independently are essential.

Requirements
  • You must have 5 or more GCSEs, including English and Maths, at Grade C/Level 4 or above, and 2 or more A Levels (or equivalent).
